In latest news from Uttarakhand, while taking part in the procession taken out to mark the 529th birth anniversary of Udasinacharya Jagatguru Sri Chandracharya Maharaj, the Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev said that the Sikhism is based on the foundations of national dharma and spiritual dharma which is marked by the martyrdom of a number of Sikh Gurus on the altar of the nation’s unity and integrity as well as the sanatana dharma of this ancient land. “Seen against this glorious legacy of Sikhism, those who are holding the banner of separatism in the name of Khalistan can never be adherents of this great religion,” he said while speaking of the worsening diplomatic relation between Canada and India. He further said that it was unfortunate that some people, settled in Canada, Australia and the USA, are blemishing the name of India by propagating Khalistan. “However, the Sikh community people are solidly standing with India,” he said.
Lashing out at leaders of some of the constituents of a political alliance, Baba Ramdev said that these parties would get eliminated in the upcoming general election scheduled next year.
