Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi alias Waseem Rizvi began his pilgrimage to Badrinath after offering prayers to the Ganga at Har Ki Paidi here on Friday. Tyagi also had an argument with the police regarding his security.
Speaking to the media persons after worshipping the Ganga, Tyagi said he was undertaking a pilgrimage from Haridwar to Badrinath Dham along with his Sanatan companions. This is his first pilgrimage after formally entering the Sanatan Dharma. Tyagi said that the purpose of this ‘Sankalp Yatra’ is also to elicit focus on the demand for ‘one nation one law’ which is very important in India because some religions in India are following their religious laws by bypassing the Indian Constitution under the guise of their customs. This is leading to various serious problems in the society, he opined.
