The Uttarakhand Congress has said that the deployment of NDRF and ITBP personnel in the Char Dham Yatra by the central government proves that the state government has failed in providing necessary facilities to the pilgrims
The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara has said that the decision of the union government has proved that whatever the CM of Uttarakhand, health minister and other ministers were claiming regarding arrangements and facilities in Char Dham Yatra were a lie. Mahara said that he had visited the Kedarnath and Badrinath shrine and had found gross negligence and mismanagement which were highlighted by the media. He said that the state government should seek an apology for its failure to make necessary arrangements and facilities in the Char Dham Yatra.
