Following the direction of governor lieutenant general (retd) Gurmit Singh, the preparation for civil services examinations will start from the month of October at Doon University. The university vice chancellor Surekha Dangwal said that the university will guide its students and other students who want to prepare for the examination. Speaking at an orientation programme in the university, Dangwal said that the university is consistently striving to create an environment in the university where the youths can get opportunities to showcase their talent. The director of Prayas IAS study circle Sushil Kumar Singh averred that the time and money spent on the preparation for civil services exams is not an expenditure but a kind of investment. Further, the coordinator of the university, professor RP Mamgain said that the university is committed to providing the best resources to the students under this Super 39 mission.
