The State level 20-point programme implementation committee has earmarked 110 indicators for ranking of the developmental blocks on different parameters in the State. The deputy chairman of the committee Jyoti Prasad Gairola chaired a meeting of all the heads of departments of the State on Saturday. In the meeting Gairola said that the ranks should be given to the development blocks by monitoring the twenty-point programmes at the block level.

He said that the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of flag bearer sustainable development and aspirational development blocks have been added in the development block level framework.

In the meeting Gairola expressed concern over the D category received by all the districts in the Pradhan Mantri Awas (urban) and Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana. Presentation of the newly created web application of the twenty-point programme developed in collaboration with the NIC state unit was made in the meeting. The application will help in direct submission of the monthly progress reports by the nodal officers of various departments of the districts and the work of data authentication of each indicator will be done from the head of the department level. For this, separate IDs and passwords will be set for the officers of all the districts and the state headquarters. Through the dashboard, district economics and statistics officers will be able to monitor the progress of data entry and validation of the twenty-point programme.

The research officer, Twenty Point Programme  JC Chandola said that based on the progress of the previous month, the lists of 33 indicators/schemes will also be fed online, in which filters of district, development block and Panchayat level have been applied.  The app will help the officers and task force officers of the Twenty Point Programme implementation committee to get the list of schemes directly and conduct on-site verification.

Joint director TS Anna said that in the twenty-point frame, 11 schemes are to be added to the ranking as per the instructions of the government, the data obtained from which will be used in making the index of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
