The chief medical officer (CMO) of Dehradun, Dr Manoj Upreti said that a target of one lakh vaccinations is taken for Monday. He said that 50000 on slot (online) and 50000 on the spot vaccinations would be done on the day. He said that all those who have completed the age of 18 years can get themselves vaccinated.

Similarly all those who have got the first dose of vaccine can get the second dose on the day both by online or onsite methods, he said. The CMO appealed to the people of Dehradun that they should get such people vaccinated in their families or neighbourhood who have not received the vaccine yet in the mega vaccination drive on August 23.
