The education department of Uttarakhand would soon recruit 2004 primary teachers for government schools of the state. In an order released on Monday, the education secretary, R Meenakshi Sundram directed the primary education director to release district wise recruitment advertisements for primary teachers till November 20.
The unemployed youths were demanding from quite some time now that the process of recruitment on vacant posts of primary teachers should start. They had also met the education minister Arvind Pandey on the issue.
