Uttarakhand defeated Tripura in the qualifying competition in the National Kabaddi Championship which began on Tuesday. The championship was hosted by Uttarakhand Kabaddi Association in Udham Singh Nagar. It was inaugurated by state sports minister Arvind Pandey. There are 56 teams from 28 states including Delhi, Goa, Gujarat participating in it.
