Questioning the decision of the State government to set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the Patwari paper leak case, the Uttarakhand Congress has said that the work style of the government has been exposed. The chief spokesperson of State Congress Garima Dasauni said that it is surprising that the government which was heaping praises on the alertness of Special Task Force (STF) in investigation of the paper leak case of Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has taken away the case of Patwari paper leak case from it. She said that STF had moved forward in its investigation, collected evidence and arrested about a dozen persons in the case. Dasauni said that acting in haste the State government handed over the case to the SIT which is sheer wastage of time of the agencies and the youngsters of the State. She said that the Patwari paper leak case has made the Dhami government jittery. Dasauni added that the comment of former chairman of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) DP Joshi that it is really surprising the manner in which the main accused in the case was able to receive the question paper has cornered the State government. She said that the investigation of the people responsible for the laxity should be done. Dasauni said that it is unfortunate that the chairman of the UKPSC has not sought apology for the paper leak. She said that the youth of the State are feeling cheated by a series of the paper leak cases but the State government is not concerned at all.
