Complete construction of Uttarakhand Niwas on time-CM

 Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the Uttarakhand Niwas in New Delhi should be constructed within the stipulated time period. He inspected the place where the building is being constructed on Saturday and gave necessary instructions. He said that the quality of the construction should be maintained. CM directed the work executive agency that the office of Resident Commissioner and Uttarakhand State information centre should be shifted to the Uttarakhand Niwas.

 It is pertinent to mention here that the work on the construction of Uttarakhand Niwas commenced in June 2020 at 3, Gopinath Bardoli road, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. The proposed seven storied building would have three basements and it is being constructed as per the Uttarakhand style of Architecture. The building would have its own sewage treatment plant and 50 MW solar power plant. The work on the building is expected to be complete next year. Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram, director Vigilance Amit Sinha and additional resident commissioner Ajay Mishra were present during the inspection.
