In Uttarakhand news in English, the State chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami offered puja in accordance with the religious rituals at Shyam Baba Mandir on Utsav Garden Hospital Road in Tanakpur on the first day of his tour of Champawat district. He was now touring Champawat to celebrate the completion of the first year since his victory in the Assembly by-election there. However, in the aftermath of the horrific train mishap in Odisha, the CM has cancelled all programmes slated to be held to mark the occasion.
