BJP questions LoP’s right to question decisions he was involved in

The political bankruptcy in the Congress at the central and State levels is evident from the fact that Yashpal Arya who was a cabinet minister in the previous Bharatiya Janata Party State government was made the leader of opposition (LoP) by the Congress here.

Stating this, the BJP State spokesman Ravinder Jugran said that as a cabinet minister in the previous BJP State government, Arya was also answerable for the decisions taken by the government as he had consented to the same. Arya does not have the right morally and on principle to question the decisions taken by the previous BJP State government, he said. “For the past fortnight, the LoP has been consistently questioning the decisions of the previous BJP State government. Did he raise these questions when he was a cabinet minister in the same government?

The people of Uttarakhand want to know from the LoP how he can question the decisions he too was involved in taking. It is such bankruptcy which has brought the Congress down to the bottom. The Congress has made itself a laughing stock by making Arya the LoP and will eventually have to reconsider its decision and remove him from this post,” opined the BJP spokesman.
