The Trikon Society will organise the second edition of the Uttarakhand women’s bike rally on March 14. The bike rally will start from the chief minister’s residence and cover a distance of about 32 kilometres to conclude at Doon Heritage School. This event is an initiative to celebrate women’s essence and to break stereotypes by involving as many women as possible. Before that, various small events will be held for about a week as part of international women’s day celebrations.
Trikon Society director Neha Sharma said, “Our purpose is to bring women from different backgrounds on one platform so that they can encourage each other and promote tourism in Uttarakhand. We will also be displaying women farmer’s products and handmade products which are made by the ladies of Trikon Society.”
