AAP demands dissolution of Devasthanam Board

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) staged protests in 70 assemblies of Uttarakhand demanding dissolution of the Devasthanam Board on Wednesday.  

The party workers also protested outside the offices of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in all assemblies and stated that they will continue to protest against the state government till it dissolves the board. The party said that the government has talked about considering the dissolution of the board multiple times but it never does.

AAP leader and its chief ministerial candidate Ajay Kothiyal also met priests in Kedarnath during his visit on Wednesday. He also supported the demand for the dissolution of the Devasthanam Board.  He said that he and his party will continue to support the priests seeking dissolution of the board.
