Joshi selected member of SC-constituted committee for chancellor appointments in WB varsities

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the noted academician and the cyber security expert Raj Shekhar Joshi has been made a member of the 11-member search cum selection committee constituted by the Supreme Court for the appointment of the chancellors of 31 universities of West Bengal. Notably, he is the first academician from Uttarakhand to be included in the selection committee formed by the Apex Court. He has been playing an instrumental role in achieving the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India vision. He is also credited with preparing the format of technology for the New Education Policy. Aside from working as the technology advisor of the Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, he is working as archive advisor in the Prime Minister’s Office. He is also active in stopping migration from Uttarakhand’s mountain villages.
