In latest news from Uttarakhand, the veteran BJP leader and the State culture minister Satpal Maharaj congratulated Vishnu Deo Sai on being elected as the chief minister of Chhattisgarh. He also congratulated Arun Sau and Vijay Sharma on being elected as the deputy chief ministers. He further said that it was a matter of satisfaction for him that he had canvassed for votes for this trio as the BJP’s star campaigner. Lauding the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving a message to the people through the election of an Adivasi Hindu as the CM of Chhattisgarh, Maharaj said that it was a step in the direction of fulfilling the vision of the Adivasi icon Birsa Munda.
