In latest news from Dehradun, the Uttarakhand School Education Council (USEC) is all set to hold the 10th and 12th board examinations in February/ March next year and the results of both these exams are to be declared by the end of April next. Notably, the State administration has already released the government order (GO) in this matter. As per the education department officers privy to details, the board is most likely to conduct these exams either in the last week of February or the first week of March 2024. Speaking on the matter, the USEC secretary Neeta Tiwari said that they have already received copy of the GO and then they have started preparations for meeting the exam timeline set by the administration. Notably, the delay in the conduct of board exams negatively impacts higher education too, hindering the commencement of the academic session. This is why the State administration has released the GO to ensure that board exams are conducted in time.
