Badrinath being developed on lines of Kedarnath- CM Dhami

The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the development of Badrinath shrine is being done in a phased manner on the lines of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream project Kedarnath. He conducted on the ground inspection of the works being done under the master plan in Badrinath on Friday. He inspected river front development, arrival plaza, beautification of the lakes, extension of hospital, construction of loop road and BRO by-pass works. Expressing satisfaction on the construction works, CM directed the officers to complete the development works within the stipulated time. The district magistrate (DM) of Chamoli Himanshu Khurana informed the CM about the works being undertaken in the first phase of Badrinath master-plan.

 Interacting with the media-persons, Dhami said that the numbers of the pilgrims are increasing every year in all the four Dhams of the state. He said that the state government is committed for a safe and easy Yatra. The CM informed that under the Badrinath masterplan works such as street-scaping, queue management, beautification of temple and Ghats, Badrish Van, parking facility and road and river front development are would be executed.  The transport facility for the Badrinath would be improved.

 In Badrinath shrine CM Dhami offered special prayers for the prosperity of the state. He also interacted with the pilgrims and inquired about the Yatra arrangements.

The DM Himashu Khurana, Superintendent of Police (SP) Shweta Chaubey, ADM Ashish Tripathi, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Kumkum Joshi, chairman of the cooperative bank Gajendra Rawat and vice president of the Temple committee Kishore Panwar and others were present during the inspection of the shrine by the CM.
