THDCIL & IIT Delhi ink MoU on research in science & technology

THDC India Limited and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi inked a memorandum of understanding recently, forging a collaborative partnership on advancing research and development activities in science, engineering and technology. The THDCIL chairman and managing director RK Vishnoi said that as per the   MoU, THDCIL will partner with IIT Delhi to conduct research studies, pilot projects and consulting engagements led by IIT Delhi faculty members. Elaborating on the pivotal areas of collaboration envisioned in the MoU, Vishnoi said that the THDCIL will actively reach out to IIT Delhi to initiate collaborative projects and engage with research groups within the institution and added that these collaborative efforts would encompass a broad spectrum of research domains not limited to the domain of energy conservation only. THDCIL is committed to providing comprehensive financial support to IIT Delhi for operational expenses and the cost of research and development activities, he said.

Speaking of the occasion, dean (R&D), IIT Delhi, Naresh Bhatnagar said that the MoU would empower his institute for commissioning projects in the areas of batteries, communications and applications robots among others.
