State health services to get 245 new doctors

The State health services of Uttarakhand would soon get the services of 245 new doctors. These doctors would enter into a bond with the health services. In a statement, the Health and Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat said on Friday that the 245 MBBS doctors would be taken into the service under the bond system. He said that these doctors would be deployed in the health centres located in remote and mountainous areas of the state. Rawat said that the director general (DG) of state health services has sent a proposal to the state government for appointing these doctors who have recently passed out from the colleges. He added that 39 of these 245 doctors would be deployed in Chamoli, 25 in Uttarkashi, 25 in Rudraprayag, 12 in Pauri, 18 in Tehri, six in Nainital, 29 in Bageshwar, 25 in Champawat, 25 in Pithoragarh and 41 in Almora districts.
