Sainya Dham to be ready in October this year: Ganesh Joshi

The Soldier Welfare minister, Ganesh Joshi has said that the State government has taken a decision to give priority to the dependents of the martyrs in government jobs and has increased the grants provided to the soldiers and their dependents. He was addressing the fourth foundation day programme of Purva Sainik Parvatiya Jankalyan Samiti at Selaqui on Sunday.  Congratulating the ex-servicemen and the Veer Naris, the minister said that many welfare schemes are being undertaken by the State government for them and their dependents. He said that the memorials and Saheed Dwars are now being constructed by the Sainik Kalyan department. Earlier the department of culture used to construct them. Joshi expressed gratitude to chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for approving the proposal of free travel in the buses of Uttarakhand roadways for the soldiers decorated with gallantry awards and their widows. Joshi said that a majestic and grand Sainya Dham is coming up in Dehradun under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his vision that Sainya Dham would be the fifth Dham of Uttarakhand. He added that the Sainya Dham would be completed in the month of October. He said that the Dham would be a true tribute for the brave hearts who dedicated their lives for the country. The Sainya Dham would act as a source of inspiration for the younger generations to serve the motherland, he added.

 The president of the committee Niranjan Singh Chauhan, Sahaspur MLA Sehdev Singh Pundeer, Kailash Pant, Surya Bahadur Rana and others were present on the occasion.
