President Ram Nath Kovind reviewed the passing out parade (PoP) held at the prestigious Indian Military Academy (IMA) on Saturday. He was accompanied by Commandant Lt Gen Harinder Singh. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Governor Gurmit Singh were also present at the event. Kovind congratulated the cadets on their successful completion of their training at the IMA. While addressing the cadets, Kovind remembered late CDS General Bipin Rawat and said that our flag will always be held high because of the brave men like him who was also trained at IMA.
The Indian Army got a team of 319 young bravehearts along with 68 cadets from friendly countries making a total of 387 gentlemen cadets of the Passing Out Batch. The country got 43 officers from Uttarakhand.
