5-day training programme on bakery products commences at PTC

A five-day training programme on bakery products and industry promotion in collaboration with Uttarakhand Livelihood Mission commenced at Patanjali Training Centre in Samriddh Gram in Haridwar on Saturday.

Inaugurating the programme, the additional secretary, Ministry of Rural Development, Charanjit Singh said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had been repeatedly stressing on the overall uplift and livelihood enhancement of women through activities of self-help groups. He also appreciated the efforts made by Patanjali in this direction, hailing the Patanjali model as ideal for business promotion and livelihood improvement

The chief executive officer of Uttarakhand State Rural Livelihood Mission (UKSRLM) Anand Swaroop in his address thanked Patanjali for its collaboration in organising the training camp. Before the programme commenced, Acharya Balkrishna while participating in a high level meeting laid stress on holistic training for village development and business growth.  

A senior office bearer of Patanjali informed that the participants were being imparted training not just on making biscuits, bread, cakes and the like but also in their branding, packaging, labelling and marketing. He further said that the entire team had visited Patanjali Gramodyog, Food Park and Patanjali Research Institute.
