In a cheating case, a person Anish Balia took scooty and car on financing by duping a woman Suman Lata, resident of Garhi Cant Dehradun. It is learnt that he started calling Suman sister from their first meeting and kept coming to her home off and on. Taking advantage of the relation, he then made her sign papers using which he took a scooty and a car on financing in the name of his son. He had told Suman that he would pay the installments of the financing. However, things unfolded differently as he did not pay the installments and the woman got embroiled in a defaulter case and became a victim of harassment. Later she registered a complaint with police against Anish. It is learnt that police has filed a case against Anish and his three accomplices on the basis of the complaint. Action would be taken against the accused soon, police added.
