Vehicles of non-registered hotels/ homestays not to be allowed in Nainital town: DM

The Nainital district magistrate Dhiraj Singh Gabrial while meeting the tourism traders regarding the summer tourism said after the meeting that vehicles of non-registered hotels would not be allowed to enter the town. Notably, it has been made mandatory for the tourists to register online with hotels or homestays before arrival. At the meeting the district tourism officer said that about 270 hotels and 80 homestays are registered. The DM asked the officer to have all the running hotels and homestays in Nainital registered. He also asked the officer to ensure that the list of all the registered hotels and homestays are pasted at six places near the entry points of the town. This would make the non-registered hotels to get registered.
