The spokesperson of Garhwal division of Uttarakhand Congress, Garima Dasauni has said that the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami should break his silence on the gross irregularities going on in the Education department. She said that recently many transfers were done in the education department in gross violation of transfer policy and despite the fact that the government has declared the current session as ‘zero session’ for transfers. She added that the department has also transferred 260 teachers from Durgam areas to Sugam areas and alleged that the ministers and MLAs are using their influence to get the people of their choice transferred in violation of norms. Dasauni added that the education department has become a hot spot of corruption and the CM should take cognisance of it.
