The Education department has decided to hold ‘Vidya Samwad’ in the State in the month of November under which the senior officers of the department would visit all the districts.
The Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that these discussions would be held in the first week of November as part of which the senior officers would interact with the teachers, parents and students. He said that the officers have been nominated at the directorate level to hold the Samwads.
He informed that the director general of education Banshidhar Tiwari would hold Samwad in Dehradun, director of secondary education RK Kunwar in Pithoragarh, director of academic research and training Seema Jaunsari in Haridwar, director of primary education Vandana Gabriyal in Tehri, additional directors RK Uniyal in Uttarkashi, SP Khali in Chamoli, RD Sharma in Pauri, joint directors SB Joshi in Champawat, Asha Painyuli in Udham Singh Nagar, additional director in-charge DC Gaur in Rudraprayag, joint directors RL Arya in Bageshwar, HC Singh in Nainital and Kanchan Devradi in Almora district.
The minister has directed the officers to submit their reports before November 15.
