The CEO and co-founder of CollegeDekho, the higher education platform enabling student admissions in India and abroad, Ruchir Arora said that it has listed information of about 300 colleges from Uttarakhand on its platform. He said that since 2015, the platform has helped one lakh students from Uttarakhand make informed career choices with the help of its counselling service.
Arora said, “Uttarakhand has much potential in the higher education space. Colleges and universities need to digitise and simplify their admission processes so that it’s easier for the local students to find the right opportunities nearby and attract more students from other states. This in turn will increase the talent pool and state revenue of Uttarakhand.”
