A number of workers from different parties joined the Bharatiya Janata Party here on Sunday. Welcoming them the BJP State president said that the works of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami which had impressed them need to be taken forward collectively. He said that it is due to the commendable work under PM Modi’s guidance and CM Dhami’s leadership that the stream of people joining the BJP has remained consistent. “The booth-level ground workers of various political parties are in touch with us to join our nationalist ideology and development oriented politics. This is why the BJP is consistently holding programmes at the Vidhan Sabha level to also induct the booth-level workers into the party,” said Bhatt.
The central spokesman of the UKD-Democratic, Anup Pant who also joined the BJP said that it was a matter of pride to connect with the BJP’s ideology and leadership. Swaraj Party State vice president Gauri Rautela who also joined the BJP said that a large number of social and political workers are interested in joining the BJP. Following the directions of the State leadership they will be inducted into the BJP in major programmes, she added. A number of political and social workers joined the BJP at the event held on Sunday. The BJP State general secretary Aditya Kothari, treasurer Puneet Mittal, Rishikesh mayor Anita Mamgai and others were also present on the occasion.
