The district education officer, primary education, has suspended assistant teacher Rajesh Mathur of government primary school, Nairul in Dwarikhal block of Pauri district for fake academic documents. The action was taken on the report of deputy education officer, Dwarikhal block with immediate effect and Mathur was attached to the office of deputy education officer (primary education) Dwarikhal. The deputy education officer of Jaiharikhal will probe the matter and submit the inquiry report within 20 days.
It is pertinent to mention that in the letter of suspension, the district education officer, primary education, has stated that the final year marksheet of Bachelor of Technology of assistant teacher Rajesh Mathur was found to be suspicious on the report of deputy education officer and prima facie liable for administrative action.
