A boy returning from tuition was killed in a road accident in Haldwani. It is learnt that the deceased was 11 years old. On being informed, police rushed to the spot. Police said that the deceased was a resident of Haripur Nayak in Haldwani. He has been identified as Kripal Basera, a student of class 4. While he was crossing road after taking tuition he was run over by a speeding car. He was critically injured. He was rushed to a private hospital where he succumbed while treatment was going on. Police sent the body for postmortem.
