In latest news from Dehradun, the special investigation team (SIT) of police arrested another accused of the fake land registry scam and with the latest arrest, the number of those arrested in connection with scam has gone up to 18. Police further informed that some other accused are on the police radar and they will be nabbed too in the coming days. Notably, police had arrested the prime accused of the scam identified as Humayun Parbhej two days ago. During interrogation, the prime accused had given away some other names and the SIT arrested one of them.
