The Punjab National Bank Dehradun west circle head Rajinder Bhatia said that the bank had received good response to its GST Express scheme at loan camps held in all branches under the circle. A total of 85 loan applications for Rs 24.87 crore were received in the loan camps out of which 39 applicants were given in principle sanction. He said that other customers of the bank were also requested to derive the benefit of this scheme. According to Bhatia, under the PNB’s GST Express scheme, the loan amount will be decided on the basis of the GST amount deposited in the previous year and no other document will be sought from customers. The interest rate under this scheme starts at 6.75 per cent.
