BJP plans expanding presence in various segments & regions

Various schemes of the Central and State governments were discussed in detail on the first day of the Bharatiya Janata Party State working committee in the presence of the party’s national general secretary and State in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gauam and co in-charge Rekha Verma at a resort in Raiwala on Sunday. The party’s State president Mahendra Bhatt stressed on the need for measures to expand the presence of the party among various sections and regions.

Addressing the media on the occasion, Gautam said that schemes of the Central government and programmes as directed by the party’s central leadership are being discussed in detail in the meeting. The major aspects include Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat programme at the booth level, plan for the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programmes, importance of India’s presidence of G20 and social participation programme. In addition to this, the representatives of the party in the State and the State government will hold a discussion to review the works of the State government and the organisation. Discussions are also being held in the meeting on how to further strengthen the party in the State, reports on the activities of the party’s various cells, data management and utilisation along with the action plan for social media, he said.

In the first session of the meeting, the BJP State president Mahendra Bhatt stressed on the need for the party to work with increased coordination with people of all sections of society and regions. The party has to organise programmes considering the people’s religious, social and cultural occasions along with events related to the great personalities of the sections so that the party can expand further among such sections. He said that all office bearers of the party must keep an hour reserved on the last Sunday of each month for the Mann Ki Baat programme. The office bearers in-charge of Mann Ki Baat, Pariksha Pe Charcha and data management gave detailed information on these aspects in the meeting. The State office bearers, district heads, district in-charges, co-incharges, IT and social media convenor along with State presidents of all the cells of the party participated in the meeting.
