The chairperson of Uttarakhand State Commission for Women (USCW) Kusum Kandwal has asked the senior superintendent of Police (SSP), Dehradun Daleep Singh Kunwar to take action in the cases of molestation of women in buses of Uttarakhand roadways. She expressed concern over the two separate molestation cases that happened in Uttarakhand Roadways buses. Regarding this, she said that she had reported the two cases of molestation of women that occurred in Uttarakhand roadways buses on Friday.
She further said that she talked to the SSP and Divisional Manager of Uttarakhand Roadways, Sanjay Gupta over the phone about the issue and asked them to investigate and take strict action as soon as possible.
