The body of the martyred soldier subedar Ajay Singh Rautela reached his home at Rampur village in Tehri in the midst of heavy rainfall on Monday. All the villagers arrived to pay their last respects to the martyr who was killed in an encounter with the terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. The wife of the martyr Sunita Rautela was devastated on the arrival of her husband’s dead body. The last rites of the brave heart were performed at Ganga Ghat in Muni Ki Reti. The twin sons of the martyr performed the last rites of their father.
Rautela attained martyrdom in an encounter between the security personnel and heavily armed terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC) in Mendhar sub division of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
