Taking cognisance of the complaint of Congress party, the election commission has directed the director of medical education department to take necessary action on associate professor, nursing college Champawat, Ramkumar Sharma. In the letter the assistant chief electoral officer of Uttarakhand Mastu Das has asked the director of medical education to take action on Sharma for violating officers employee service regulation. Sharma was seen participating in an election meeting in Rajasthan.
It is pertinent to mention here that chief spokesperson of Uttarakhand Congress Garima Dasauni had registered a complaint in the election commission against Sharma. In the complaint she said that Sharma violated the service regulations by sharing the stage with the education and health minister Dhan Singh Rawat in an election meeting in Rajasthan.
