Police return 164 stolen mobile phones to owners

In latest Dehradun news, the cyber wing of Dehradun police claimed to have recovered 164 mobile phones which were stolen. The senior superintendent of police Dalip Singh Kunwar himself handed over the mobile phones to their owners at a programme. While addressing the programme, the SSP said that they had received a large number of complaints from the people who said that their mobile phones had been stolen. “We took the matter seriously and directed the cyber cell to search and find the stolen mobile phones. Acting on the directive, the cyber cell conducted raids in several states like Uttarakhand, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan. So far, the team has recovered 164 stolen mobile phones,” he said.
