SpiceJet, has started the operations of its non-stop flight connecting Pantnagar in Uttarakhand with New Delhi. The new flight will ensure Pantnagar’s connectivity with various domestic and international destinations.
The Chief Commercial Officer, SpiceJet, Shilpa Bhatia said, “We are extremely delighted to connect Pantnagar with New Delhi. Our new non-stop flight will ensure that Pantnagar is connected with more than 60 domestic and international destinations on SpiceJet’s network via New Delhi. This flight marks the beginning of a new phase of enhanced connectivity between Uttarakhand and the National Capital. In addition to increasing connectivity to the State’s many tourist destinations, our flight will have a positive impact on boosting the local economy. Since Pantnagar airport is well connected to important tourist destinations in Uttarakhand such as Nainital, Ranikhet, Jim Corbett National Park, Bhimtal and Almora, the new flight will be beneficial to both tourists and residents in the State, as well as help in reviving the travel and tourism sector.”
