Senior officers from PMO inspect & review progress of Badrinath master plan

In latest Uttarakhand news, a high-profile delegation from the Prime Minister’s Office, including the principal secretary to the PM P K Mishra, the advisor to the PM Amit Khare and deputy secretary to the PM Mangesh Ghidiyal, made on- ground  inspection of the execution of the projects coming under the PM’s dream project Badrinath  master plan. The sites they inspected included BRO bypass road, a one-way loop road, works related to Sheshnetra and Badrish lakes, an arrival plaza, an inter-state bus terminus, expansion work of a hospital and the beautification of the Badrinath shrine.  Mishra asked the officials to complete the projects in a time-bound manner without compromising the quality of work.

While briefing the delegation about the status of the ongoing project execution works, the district magistrate Chamoli Himanshu Khurana said that the construction of the BRO bypass and one-way loop road has been completed while works related to Sheshnetra and Badrish lakes, a civic amenity centre and arrival plaza are progressing fast and are presently in the final stage.

Mishra said that along with Badrinath reconstruction project, the neighbouring Mana village and its adjoining areas are being developed too in tune with the comprehensive master plan firmed up by the Prime Minister.
