An army man from Kishanpur Haldwani Jagdish Pandey died during treatment and was then cremated. He was suffering from tumor. He joined the Kumaon Regiment in 2001. He was injured in an accident while returning home on leave at Gajraula in Uttar Pradesh about six months ago. He was admitted to the Delhi Army Hospital. About one month back, it was found during checkup at the Army hospital that he had a tumor. He underwent a surgery to have the tumor removed. But he did not regain consciousness after the surgery and died. His body was brought to Haldwani and then he was cremated.
