In latest news from Dehradun, the BJP veteran Bhagat Singh Koshyari met the Congress veteran Harish Rawat at a hospital in the city where the latter has been recuperating following a road accident in which he sustained injuries. Speculations have been swirling on the social media posts as to whether this meeting between these two towering leaders of the rival parties has anything to do with the general election a few months away. Notably, these leaders are being advised by many to retire from the hurly burly of the political arena in consideration of their age. However, there is no dearth of people who are prodding them to keep their moorings erect as they are still physically agile and politically relevant.
