In latest news from Dehradun, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami sounded happy over the railway department having given in-principle approval to the weekly operation of new train that is to run between Dehradun and Tanakpur in Champawat district. Expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on the much-awaited approval, he said that this train on becoming operational would improve inter-State connectivity. He further said he was all the more grateful as the Centre had acted on the request for this new train he had made to the railway minister.
