The Dehradun police have registered a case against a man for clicking a photo inside the polling booth while casting vote violating the norms of model code of conduct (MCC) in Mussoorie. The police informed that the man named Mohit Dadhwal clicked a photo while casting the vote and later posted it in social media platforms to promote the political party which is against MCC. According to the police, the police have registered a case against the accused under Section 128 of the Representation of the People Act on the complaint of the returning officer (RO) of Mussoorie assembly constituency, Naresh Chandra Durgapal and will soon take the action.
