The 24thannual inter house athletic meet of The Asian School concluded here on Tuesday. Former director general of police Anil Raturi was the chief guest in the closing ceremony. Arjun house was the overall winner. It also won the inter house athletic trophy of the year 2023-24. The best march past trophy was bagged by Ranjit house.
Jayati Malhotra of Ashoka house was declared the best athlete (girls) and Sashwat Gupta of Ranjeet house was declared the best athlete (boys). Students from the middle wing of the school presented a mass PT drill and a Yoga display was presented by students of the junior wing.
The tug of war between the parents and teachers was won by the teachers.Speaking on the occasion, Raturi appreciated the efforts put in by the children and their teachers. He advised the children to continue to work hard and make sports a part of their lives as it will help them stay disciplined. He motivated the students to inculcate good leadership qualities so that they can contribute to the country’s progress and prosperity.
