Operation Sindoor, a clear message to terrorists: CM Dhami

A Tiranga Shaurya Samman Yatra was organized in Dehradun on Wednesday to celebrate the historic victory of India in Operation Sindoor.
The Yatra commenced from Shaurya Sthal Cheerbagh and culminated at Gandhi Park. Large number of people including BJP leaders, ex- servicemen and youngsters attended the Yatra.
Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Yatra after paying floral tributes to the martyred soldiers at Shaurya Sthal.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that the success of Operation Sindoor has once again proved that our armed forces are fully capable of taking decisive action against terrorism.
He said that by the Operation Sindoor, India not only demonstrated the bravery of its soldiers but also gave a clear message to terrorism and its supporters that the new India will now respond to every terrorist act in its own language. Appreciating the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that today India is capable of giving a befitting reply to any terrorist challenge and now the country’s borders are being protected with state-of-the-art indigenous technology.
Dhami said that Uttarakhand is a land of braves and here almost every family is associated with the service of the country. He called upon the youth of the State to move forward by taking inspiration from the discipline, bravery and national service of the army and security forces.
The CM also gave a call to organise the Tiranga Shaurya Samman Yatra every year to commemorate the historic victory of India in the Operation Sindoor.
The soldier welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi, Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, former CM Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, MLAs Khajan Das, Umesh Sharma Kau, Brij Bhushan Gairola and Bharat Chaudhary, Mayor of Dehradun Saurabh Thapliyal, former Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Vijay and others attended the Yatra.
