ONGC builds Yog Bhawan at Tapkeshwar Mahadev

The ONGC chairperson and managing director Alka Mittal inaugurated a Yog Bhawan built under corporate social responsibility at Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple premises through Devbhumi Foundation. The ONGC CSR in-charge Somesh Ranjan, Mahant Krishnagiri and Mahant Bharatgiri along with officials of the ONGC were also present on the occasion.  Speaking on the occasion, Mahant Krishnagiri said that this premises has been in use for the marriage functions of ladies from economically poor families and for various other social works. The hall built with the support of ONGC will be used for regular yoga practice.

Speaking on the occasion Mittal said that ONGC had undertaken various developmental social works during the Covid times. It had also provided solar lights in several villages while also facilitating furniture and toilets in a number of schools. She said that the Yog Bhawan in Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple will be used not only for regular yoga practice but also for educational and cultural activities along with marriage functions of poor families.
