Missing student’s body found after three days

The body of a class XI student residing in the Kankhal area, who had gone missing on Tuesday while going to tuition classes was recovered from Gangnahar on Saturday. Earlier, his two-wheeler had been found at the Premnagar Ashram Ghat in Haridwar. Since then, there were fears of something untoward having happened to the boy.

The family of civil contractor Lokesh Saini, resident of Ferupur village, lives in Mohan Vatika colony in Jagjitpur. His son Aryan Saini was a class XI student.  As usual, the boy had left the house on his scooty for tuition in the Jwalapur area on Tuesday afternoon. However, he did not reach the tuition class. The family members got worried when the boy did not return home till late in the evening. The family’s concern increased when his mobile phone was found to be switched off. On searching, Aryan’s scooty was recovered from the banks of Gangnahar near Premnagar Ashram.  The family members then informed the police about the boy missing.

On Saturday morning, the body of the student was recovered from the Gangnahar at Mohammadpur Jhal in Manglaur area. After identification, the police have sent the body for post-mortem examination. The relatives of the boy are now demanding a probe into the entire matter. They said that Aryan cannot commit suicide, adding that he have suffered from an accident. Kankhal police inspector Mukesh Chauhan said that the matter is being investigated. The cause of death will be clear in the post-mortem report, he added.
