On the directions of chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat, about 130 media persons registered for covering the Kumbh Mela were administered the Covid vaccine by the health department on Wednesday. Information director general Ranvir Singh Chauhan was also present at the vaccination site to view the arrangements.
The CM said that journalists have played an important role in the fight against Covid-19. The media persons in Uttarakhand have played a positive role in raising awareness on Covid and related precautions.The State government is committed to holding a clean, beautiful and safe Kumbh, reiterated Rawat.
