To attract investment in Uttarakhand, the state government will organise roadshows in Europe, Singapore and Dubai. It is learnt from the state government sources that the roadshows in Singapore and Dubai have been finalised while preparations are being made for the same in Europe. It is further learnt that the roadshows would be led either by the chief minister himself or his representatives. The nodal officer of the Uttarakhand investors’ summit R Meenakshi Sundaram said that the roadshows are being organised to make full use of the state’s conducive investment environment. The three-day investors’ summit may be held in October or November this year. It would be inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The dates will be finalised following the final clearance from the Prime Minister’s Office. The roadshows to be organised would prepare ground for the summit. It is also learnt that roadshows would be organised in Delhi, Mumbai, Indore and Bengaluru too.
